GiM058 - Hannibal
The Roman Empire’s greatest adversary, Hannibal Barca was one of history’s most famous generals. His battlefield tactics and strategic planning earned him respect during his life and renown ever since.
Profoundly affected by the defeat of his home nation of Carthage in the First Punic War, Hannibal vowed to his father “I will use fire and steel to arrest the destiny of Rome”. He set about doing just that when he led the Carthaginians in the Second Punic War – famously crossing the Alps into Italy and bringing the war to the Romans.
This figure represents Hannibal Barca resplendent in all his glory, wearing a cuirass of triple golden rings, which it was said “no weapon could pierce”.
This is a limited edition 28mm metal figure. Only 500 will ever be made. Each miniature comes with a numbered gift card.
Requires some assembly (fitting the rider to the horse) and supplied unpainted.
