NSA2009 - Last Stand of the Shangani Patrol
Last Stand of the Shangani Patrol, 3rd and 4th December 1893.
In the final stages of the Matabele War 1893, a patrol led by Major Allan Wilson searching for the fleeing King Lubengula was surrounded and wiped out to a man by Matabele warriors. The event became legendary in Rhodesian history. The figures represent the last moments, with survivors firing their final rounds as the warriors close in.
We also supply a pack of dead horses seperately, the grim barricade the last troopers fought behind from.
Figures are 28mm sized, made of metal and supplied unpainted.
